The Suzuki RM-Z450 is an interesting case. This model hasn’t seen a significant change in years (though that’s set to change for 2018) and yet it’s still a solid platform. I’ve contended that all this bike needs is to lose 10 pounds, gain a spring fork, and squeak out a couple extra horsepower, and it’s immediately one of the best bikes in the class. However, those things haven’t happened to the stock model, so Rob Healy took matters into his own hands.
