Racer X has learned that Red Bull KTM’s Trey Canard will make his Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season debut this weekend at Muddy Creek for round five on the championship.
After 10 seasons with Honda, Canard’s first with KTM has been riddled with injuries. In Monster Energy Supercross Canard competed in just six races the result of a early season shoulder injury, and more recently a virus that sidelined him for the remainder of the championship.
While testing for the Nationals Canard sustained a collarbone injury that sidelined him for the first four rounds of the championship.
Canard’s return is earlier than anticipated, as everything pointed to a return next weekend at RedBud.
