While we wait on some big names in the 450 Class to find a landing spot for 2017, most of the 250 teams have announced their official rosters (or riders have made the announcement on Instagram). Every year there tends to be a lot of shuffling between teams, as well as new riders emerging from the amateur ranks. This off-season is no different, as Jeremy Martin is headed to GEICO Honda from Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha, Cooper Webb is moving up to the 450 Class, Alex Martin is headed to Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM, Dylan Ferrandis is coming over from the GPs, and many more.

So how much do the rosters really change each year for the major 250 teams? We decided to look. Going back to 2013, we complied a list of every teams’ roster from then until this coming year. Of course, this doesn’t account for every fill-in rider during that time, but you’ll get the idea of how teams have evolved over the last four years—and more importantly, how their rosters have changed. As you'll see, there's a lot of shuffling that goes on, and a lot of it centers often between a few riders who end up bouncing from one team to another. Meanwhile, there's also a few key riders on each team that end up in it for the long haul. Check it out.
