Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Joey Savatgy lost control of the points lead this afternoon after going down hard in the second moto at RedBud. Savatgy was able to get up and finished sixteenth.
The crash was the second for Savatgy in the moto. Following a second in moto one, Savatgy took the early lead in the second moto only to lose the front end. He was attempting to pass Shane McElrath for fourth when he went down for a second time.
Savatgy, who entered the weekend with a 12-point lead, now trails Cooper Webb by 11.
