Lucas Oil Partners with Yoshimura/Dirt Candy Graphics Suzuki
CORONA, Calif. -- Lucas Oil Products, an industry leader in providing the best lubricants and additives in the world, has joined Mike Davignon's Yoshimura/Dirt Candy Graphics Suzuki race team to support 250cc factory riders Matt Bisceglia and Daniel Baker.
The newly formed MAD Racing team already is utilizing a variety of Lucas Oil products in and on its race bikes and will be an integral part of the research and development of existing and future Lucas Oil products moving forward.
"We like to test our products under the most extreme conditions before we release them to the public, and the rigors of professional-level Supercross and motocross racing certainly provides us with great feedback," said Lucas Oil Motorsports Manager Tom Bogner. "We are very excited to join up with the Yoshimura/Dirt Candy Graphics Suzuki race team, and we hope our products will help them find the podium many times in 2016.
"I recently met with Matt Bisceglia and his mechanic and we plan to work together on a lot of R&D. We love to tinker with our formulas and make them the very best in the world, and the conversations we have with mechanics and riders who are out there racing every weekend are invaluable."
It has been a whirlwind month for Davignon as he signed Bisceglia and Baker to ride his factory-supported Suzuki RM-Z250s in both Supercross and motocross, inked Yoshimura and Dirt Candy Graphics as sponsors, and now added the well-respected Lucas Oil Products group.
"It's an honor to represent Lucas Oil, and we plan on doing everything we can to get them a ton of exposure in the media and also continue the development of their fine products," Davignon said. "We are already seeing the horsepower benefits of having Lucas Oil in the motor, and the guys are raving about the fork oil, chain lube, and all the cleaning products. This is truly a win-win situation for us and Lucas Oil."
Bisceglia will get the 2016 season started for MAD Racing on Jan. 9 in 250SX West action at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. Baker will join the fray Feb. 20 when the 250SX East schedule begins at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
