Prior to the official running of the 2015 edition of Red Bull Straight Rhythm at Fairplex in Pomona, California, riders were treated to a little teaser of the event at Pala Raceway, where a smaller, toned-down version of the Red Bull Straight Rhythm track was built and opened up to the public. Riders of all ages and abilities showed up to try their hand at a style of track foreign to just about everybody. Two riders who were not totally unfamiliar with it, however, were the Lucas Oil/Troy Lee Designs KTM duo of Jessy Nelson and Shane McElrath. Both riders took advantage of the opportunity to get their feet wet on a straight rhythm track as they prepare themselves for the stacked Lites Class at Pomona.
