450SX Class: Anaheim Stats

The first 450SX Class race held in Anaheim was on December 4, 1976. Marty Smith won the race on a Honda.

This race marks the 66th time the gate will drop for a 450SX Class race in Anaheim.

From 2001-2010 and 2013-2014 Anaheim hosted three 450SX Class races. In 2011-2012 the venue played host to two races. The 2015 450SX Class season will mark the 13th time Anaheim has hosted three races.

Anaheim holds the record for most 450SX Class races. After the 2015 450SX Class season is completed Anaheim will have hosted 66 total 450SX Class races.

Anaheim has hosted a 450SX Class race in every season with the exception of: '74, '75 '80, '88, '97, and '98.

Ken Roczen has never finished off the podium in his five Anaheim 450SX Class starts. Roczen is going for his third Anaheim victory in just his second full 450SX Class season.

Kevin Windham gave Honda their last Anaheim 450SX Class victory in 2005. Honda has gone 26 straight 450SX Class races in Anaheim without a win.

Ryan Dungey gave KTM their first Anaheim 450SX Class victory at the third race in Anaheim in 2013.

Anaheim's third race in 2013 was KTM's first ever event sweep. Roczen won the 250SX Class and Dungey won the 450SX Class.

Can Chad Reed pass Jeremy McGrath to take sole possession of first on the Anaheim 450SX Class win list?

Suzuki has never swept Anaheim in a season where there were three Anaheim races. Roczen could become the first to do this.

Can Roczen rebound and sweep Anaheim, joining James Stewart and Reed as the only riders to win three races in Anaheim in the same season? The last two riders to sweep Anaheim were Reed in 2008 and Stewart in 2007.

Can Trey Canard earn another win? It would be the first time Honda has won back-to-back 450SX Class races since Windham won St. Louis and Seattle back-to-back in 2008.

Could we have a fourth different winner in five races?

Can Justin Barcia, Davi Millsaps, Cole Seely, or Blake Baggett get on the podium in Anaheim?

Husqvarna is still looking for their first win from Jason Anderson.

450SX Class: Oakland Recap

Canard earned his fourth career 450SX Class victory with his win in Oakland. The win was his first since Dallas in 2011, breaking a 58-race winless streak.

Canard became the third different winner in four 450SX Class races this season.

Dungey earned his 60th career 450SX Class podium with his runner-up finish in Oakland. He is the only rider to have a top-five finish in each 450SX Class race this season.

Reed finished third in Oakland and earned his 126th career 450SX Class podium, extending his lead on top of the all-time 450SX Class podium list. He now has a podium in 13 consecutive seasons.

Reed also became the sixth different 450SX Class rider to finish on the podium this season.

Reed now has 174 career 450SX Class starts, good for fourth on the all-time 450SX Class starts list.

Eli Tomac earned his third consecutive top-five finish of the season with a fourth.

Seely was able to grab his first 450SX Class top-five finish since a podium in Indy in 2014.

Barcia rode to his 31st career 450SX Class top-10 finish with a sixth place in Oakland.

Millsaps grabbed the eighth place spot in Oakland. It was his third top-10 of the season.

Millsaps also tied Carmichael and Emig on the all-time 450SX Class starts list with 115.

Andrew Short made his 111th career 450SX Class start in Oakland. He finished ninth for his third top-10 finish of the season.

Anderson finished 10th for his fourth top-10 finish of the season. Anderson and Dungey are the only 450SX Class riders to have a top-10 finish in all four races in 2015.

250SX Class: Anaheim Stats

The first 250SX Class race held in Anaheim was on February 2, 1985. Mike Healy won the race on a Suzuki.

This will be the 58th time the gate will drop for a 250SX Class race in Anaheim.

Just like the 450SX Class, Anaheim holds the record for 250SX Class races held.

250SX Class: Wins by Brand in Anaheim (Last win)

Kawasaki: 25 (2014)
Honda: 11 (2014)
Suzuki: 8 (2009)
Yamaha: 7 (2015)
KTM: 6 (2015)

Yamaha had not won in Anaheim in the 250SX Class since 2008. Cooper Webb broke that streak at the season's second Anaheim race.

Dungey won in 2009 for Suzuki's last Anaheim 250SX Class win.

Can Pro-Circuit Kawasaki get their first win of the season before the West Coast swing is over?

250SX Class: Oakland Recap

Following Cooper Webb's last-lap pass on Tyler Bowers that forced him off the track, Bowers returned the favor in Oakland with an aggressive pass that sent Webb to the ground, will this rivalry carry over to this weekend's race?

Malcolm Stewart became the 99th different rider to win a 250SX Class Main Event with his victory in Oakland. The win happened on his 36th career 250SX Class start. Stewart now has five career 250SX Class podiums and 13 career 250SX Class top-five finishes.

Stewart's older brother James was the 59th different rider to win a 250SX Class Main Event in 2002.

Malcolm and James Stewart join Tyson and Tallon Vohland as the only brothers to win a 250SX Class Main Event.

Honda has now won a 250SX Class main event for eight consecutive seasons.

2015 has already produced three first-time winners in four races in the 250SX Class. In 2014 there were five first-time winners for the entire season. The record for first-time winners in the 250SX Class for a single season was seven in 1993. Who's next?

Webb earned his sixth career 250SX Class podium with a second place finish in Oakland. He has 12 top-10 finishes in 13 career 250SX Class starts.

Alex Martin finished a career-best third in Oakland. It was his first career 250SX Class podium and top-five finish. He now has 15 career 250SX Class top-10 finishes in 31 career 250SX Class starts.

Tyler Bowers earned his ninth career 250SX Class top-five finish with a fourth in Oakland.

Bowers is the only rider in the 250SX Class to have a top-five finish in each race this season.

Zach Bell also had a career best race in Oakland. He was able to earn his first career 250SX Class top-five finish with a fifth. It was his fourth career 250SX Class top-10 finish.

Zach Osborne earned his 24th career 250SX Class top-10 finish with a sixth in Oakland. Osborne is one of five 250SX Class riders to have a top-10 finish in each race. Webb, Bowers, Justin Hill, and Jessy Nelson are the others.

Aaron Plessinger rode his way to his third top-10 finish out of four career 250SX Class starts with an eighth place.

Josh Hansen, who made his 61st 250SX Class start, earned his 45th career 250SX Class top-10 finish in Oakland with a ninth place.

Nelson earned his 16th career 250SX Class top-10 finish out of 19 career 250SX Class starts.
