Jake Canada is returning to 51FIFTY Energy Drink Yamaha. At this time, the team will support him just for Round 4 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, from Oakland. Details have yet to be announced regarding if Canada will stay with the team past this weekend. Last year, Canada finished tenth overall in the 250SX West Region with the team.
Canada began the season in 450SX on a privateer effort and had yet to qualify for a main event. This weekend, he will go back to 250SX.
"I'm grateful 51FIFTY is supporting me this weekend at Oakland. While I've only had two days on the YZ250F, I'm confident I'll put in a strong ride," said Canada. "I can't believe how fast the Yamaha is compared to last year's race bike so I'm really looking forward to Saturday."
Canada joins current team rider Austin Politelli.
