RSR's (Rick Schugel Racing) Jesse Wentland is expect to miss all of the 2015 250SX East Region of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. Wentland, entering his third professional season, announced on Instagram today that he recently had to have a “plate, twelve screws, and a bone graph,” and will be off the bike for a month or two. He left the door open for a possible return halfway through the season, but “more than likely” will return outdoors.
The Minnesota native finished twentieth overall last year in the 250SX East Region, which included a season's best eleventh in Atlanta. Wentland finished fourth in the MX2 2014 Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals in Canada in 2014.
