Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Wil Hahn is expected to miss the duration of the Monster Energy Supercross season, the team announced today. Hahn, in his first race back since St. Louis in 2014, injured his arm and back (the same injuries sustained a year ago) in practice. He was carted off the track by the Asterisk medical crew and later taken to a local hospital. The team hopes to know more on Hahn after he has surgery on his arm later this week, but hopes to have him back for Lucas Oil Pro Motocross. Despite his injuries, the team said Hahn is in good spirits.
Hahn posted the following on Instagram Saturday:
The team has not announced if they have decided to pursue a fill-in rider at this time. We will update Hahn’s status as we know more.
