The legendary Paris-Bercy Supercross kicks off November 15-16, with some top Americans making the trip. According to a recent press release, past King of Bercy Champions Justin Barcia and Justin Brayton will attend. Also expected to race: Eli Tomac, Josh Hill, Weston Peick and Malcolm Stewart.
For the first time since 1984, the race will not take place in Paris due to construction at Palais Omnisports. The event will be held in nearby Lille, near the Belgian border. The venue is home to France's Soccer Ligue 1 team, the LOSC and has a capacity of twenty-two thousand. The infield is also 60 percent larger than Bercy, according to the release, which will give the track more lanes.
France will also be well-represented in their home country, as Christophe Pourcel, Dylan Ferrandis and current MX2 World Champion Jordi Tixier are expected to attend. Cedric Soubeyras, Fabien Izoird, Valentin Teillet, Milko Potisek and Nicolas Aubin will also attend, according to the release.
