Youthstream has announced the television schedule for the 2014 Motocross of Nations in Latvia this weekend. CBS Sports Network will carry the event in the US and Canada. Paul Malin and Jeff Emig will call the action. From the press release:
“Meanwhile, CBS Sports Network will broadcast in the USA and Canada LIVE with live commentary from two legends in their own rights, Paul Malin and Jeff Emig. The commentary from the duo Malin and Emig will also be broadcasted on www.MXGP-TV.com, which will broadcast both Saturday and Sunday LIVE.”
According to cbssportsnetwork.com, coverage begins Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern on CBS Sports Network. Live coverage of the event, both Saturday and Sunday, can been seen on MXGP-TV.com.

With the 2014 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations being the most prestigious and spectacular motocross event of the year www.MXGP-TV.com will go the extra mile for their viewers and broadcast BOTH Saturday and Sunday LIVE.
Twenty years ago, at the 1994 FIM Motocross of Nations, previously named Motocross des Nations, British presenter Paul Malin raced for Great Britain and American presenter Jeff Emig raced for Team USA. Back then the duo were opposition going bar to bar, each out to play their part in claiming the coveted Chamberlain Trophy. This weekend in Latvia, adding an extra flare to the already awesome event, the two have teamed up to present to you at home the 2014 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.
Starting at 13:30 local time Malin and Emig will get the ball rolling with the MXGP-TV Studio Show which will feature special guests Team Australia’s Chad Reed, Team Great Britain’s Dean Wilson while Team USA’s Eli Tomac is yet to be confirmed. Following the pre-race build up from the Studio Show, the gates in Kegums, Latvia, will drop for the first time with Qualifying heat one, which will be followed by Qualifying heats two and three.
As for the television broadcasting service, CBS Sports Network will utilize the live commentary from Paul Malin and Jeff Emig in their delayed coverage for the United States and Canada, while LTV1, LTV7 and LNT1 will be onsite offering a unique insight to the event for local viewers. Meanwhile acclaimed German sports channel Sport 1 will also have their own TV crew in attendance to provide exclusive coverage for Germany.
