  • DiFrancesco Headlines 2014 Cobra Team

HILLSDALE, Mich.,– From backyards, farm fields and gravel pits to small town USA motocross tracks, young American motocross hopefuls – all with big dreams of becoming a pro racer someday – are taking an important step toward the elite level of amateur competition aboard a Cobra minicycle. And of those kids there a few that stand out above the rest are the members of this year’s Cobra Moto team.

Drawing from California to the East Coast, Midwest, Heartland and Southern States, Cobra Moto has assembled yet another all-star team that’s truly representative of the soul and heritage of the most successful American-made line of competition minicycles. From national championships contested on such hallowed MX grounds as Loretta Lynn’s, the Mini Os and World Mini GPs, Grand Nationals (aka “Ponca City”), Oak Hill, Mill Creek, Lake Whitney and Mammoth, Cobra Moto-backed racers are the stars of tomorrow in terms of ‘Who’s next’ in the world of professional motocross racing.

This year’s Cobra Moto factory-backed team includes:

· Ryder DiFrancesco, California

· Reed Cooper, New York

· Casey Cochran, Tennessee

· Brock Bennett, California

· Noah Geyer, Maryland

· Jordan Torres, California

· Noah Gordon, Arizona

· Lucas Grounds, Indiana

· Brock Lassiter, Missouri

· Codee Samples, Texas

· Gary Stewart, Indiana

· Chase Yentzer, Pennsylvania

·  Gage Steburg, Iowa

·  Johnny Weber, Wisconsin

Beyond this amazing amount of motocross talent sure to again produce industry-leading podium efforts in the 2014 competition season, this year’s Cobra Moto team racers, along with the family mechanic (most often the father), also play an integral role in the development of the upcoming model year bikes.

“The feedback we receive from the Cobra Moto team members is paramount to our design process for the new bikes,” said Sean Hilbert, President of Cobra Moto. “These kids and their dads test the Cobra bikes in every condition imaginable on the best – and worst – tracks across the United States. We rely heavily on their input at Cobra Moto as we continually strive to create the fastest and most reliable competition minicycles on the market.
