Jesse Wentland is returning to Canada for 2014. MX101 Yamaha is extremely excited to announce that Wentland will be riding a Yamaha YZ250F for the entire Rockstar Energy Drink National Motocross Series.
Jesse raced in a select few Canadian Nationals in 2013 with impressive results, including moto wins at Sand Del Lee and Gopher Dunes. “We are thrilled to have Jesse signed for 2014. Our objective is to win the MX2 championship, and with Jesse, Dylan Wright, and Shawn Robinson we believe we have the right team.” said Kevin Tyler.
Jesse is from Minnesota, and in 2012 he won an AMA Amateur National Championship at Loretta Lynn’s. In 2013, besides racing three rounds of the Canadian series, Jesse had some top 15 finishes in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Jesse is also competing in the 2014 Monster Energy Supercross East Region and currently sits 17th in points.
