  • GNCC Names Shark Kage Associate Sponsor

MORGANTOWN, W. Va.- As the 2014 racing season kicks off this weekend in Bunnell, Fla., Racer Productions is pleased to announce the addition of Shark Kage, the multi-use ramp, the official Motorcycle and ATV ramp of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis and sanctioned by AMA.

As an Associate Sponsor of the GNCC Series, the Las Vegas-based company will have a presence at all 13 rounds, showcasing its innovative motorcycle and ATV ramp at the DeRisi Racing vending area.

"I am excited to be working with Shark Kage this season!" said Santo DeRisi, Founder and Owner of DeRisi Racing. "The Shark Kage multi-use ramps are perfect for GNCC Racers and we're looking forward to demoing them at the DeRisi Racing pits this season so everyone can see first hand just how versatile this product is."

Shark Kage is the first multi-use ramp on the market today and utilizes a unique patent pending design to offer six functions in one: a ramp, bed extender, cargo box, cargo cover, work table and sunshade structure. Shark Kage is secured to the tailgate with the Shark Bite? mounting plate that supports all six configurations. The Shark Bite mounting plate prevents the ramp from slipping or falling during use, creating an unprecedented level of confidence for riders. The Shark Kage ramp is so innovative that Chuck Sun, Motocross legend and American Motorcyclists Hall of Fame inductee, has endorsed it.

"I've had a lot of fun racing GNCC events, quickly discovering just how physically demanding three hours in the saddle can be," Sun commented. "Shark Kage's ability to safely ride your bike or quad into your truck when you're spent is one of six reasons I use the Shark Kage Multi-Use Ramp! Have a safe ride!"

Shark Kage brings over 30 years of riding experience, design and innovation to the industry. Shark Kage ramps have load capacities of 1,000 to 1,500 lbs. depending on the model chosen, and comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.  DeRisi Racing will be demoing the award-winning sport ramp, with a motor ramp soon to follow. Both are able to accommodate nearly all types of on and off-road motorcycles, ATV's, and more.

The 2014 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series kicks off this weekend, March 8 and 9, in Bunnell, Fla., with Round 1 of the 13-race series. For more information, please visit gnccracing.com.
