Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Dean Wilson was wondering after Oakland if that elusive win would ever happen. Fortunately for the Scottish lad it only took one more week to break through and put the early struggles of this season behind him. Deano is one of our favorite guests and we always look forward to catching up. We have our Google Scottish translator all warmed up.
Monster Energy Kawasaki's Jake Weimer has always been one of those riders that have retained their personality throughout the ups and downs over the years. We’ve covered his entire professional career and his consistent sharp wit and dry sense of humor are refreshing after all this time. Jake decided late last summer to change things up in a big way and hit the reset button after moving his program back to Cali. We’ll see how the new routine is going and get his thoughts on the season so far.
Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha's Cooper “Cooperman” Webb may not be getting the headlines with all the epic racing, but the rookie is flat out killing it on the West Coast. Coop’s second podium of the year was even more impressive after injuring his wrist in a spectacular crash at Oakland. This kid is the real deal and we hope he lives up to his commitment to us to drop his bike and pull back the jersey like Cam Newton after his first victory!
