  • Kawasaki Announces Team Green Contingency

Irvine, Calif. - With more than 30 years of history in motocross and off-road racing, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green will continue their industry leading trackside support at amateur motocross events and select off-road events across the country. Paired with an extensive contingency program through the convenient and easy-to-use Kawasaki Contingency Rewards MasterCard®, the Team Green program is unmatched. With a full line of KX™ models to choose from, racers of any size can be eligible to earn Kawasaki Contingency Rewards on the bikes that build champions.

For the 2014 season Kawasaki has increased the number of top motocross and off-road series supported, as well as increased payout from last year. With events in 44 states Kawasaki contingency gives Team Green riders a chance to earn rewards across America.  Kawasaki will continue their contingency for the entire field in both professional supercross and motocross as all eligible Kawasaki riders that qualify for the main event in supercross and the top 40 in motocross will be eligible to collect contingency on their KX™250F or KX™450F.

“This year we continued to improve our contingency program,” said Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green Supervisor Ryan Holliday. “At Team Green we are always looking at ways to continue supporting the next generation of riders and help Kawasaki riders achieve their dreams. With more series and increased payout from years previous, Team Green continues to establish themselves as leaders of the industry.”

In addition to contingency, Kawasaki Team Green’s trackside support continues to lead the industry. At more than 50 local, regional, and national level events the Team Green trackside support program includes on-site Kawasaki technicians and race transporters providing emergency parts, technical assistance, and racing tips. The Team Green support vehicles are there to make sure every Kawasaki rider is race ready and part of the Team Green family.

“Team Green is a core part of Kawasaki’s racing efforts and has been for more than 30 years,” said Monster Energy Kawasaki Senior Racing Manager Reid Nordin. “Riders choose Kawasaki knowing that from their dealership to the track, they have support unlike any other manufacturer. Our riders and their families know they have Kawasaki technicians on hand to reach out to assuring their KX is performing at its best, increasing their confidence and results on the track.”
