JGRMX Partners with GYTR

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – The Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX Team is proud to announce a new collaboration with Yamaha’s GYTR (Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing) engineering group.  GYTR has been in existence for over 40 years.  Only recently though has the GYTR line of performance racing parts and accessories been available to Yamaha owners. Historically the parts were only made available to Yamaha’s Factory Racing Teams.

GYTR offers a full line of performance solutions for many Yamaha products, both on-road and off-road, including the YZ450Fs raced by JGRMX.  Initially the team will use GYTR camshafts, cylinder heads, ignition covers and clutches.

Because Yamaha has full access to all of its models far in advance of retail release dates, its engineers have long lead times to develop, test, and ensure the reliability of GYTR components before they are offered to the racing public.

“We are glad to be working closely with the GYTR engineering group at Yamaha,” said Coy Gibbs, the team owner.  “As far as I know this is the only program of its kind where the owners of a specific brand can have access to this level of performance while being assured that reliability has been carefully factored in as well.”

“Our Yamalube® and GYTR products are specifically developed to maximize the output and longevity of Yamaha motorcycles used in competition, said Trevor Kemp of Yamaha’s Customer Support Group.  “In the short time we have been working closely with the JGRMX staff, both sides have found the collaboration mutually beneficial and we look forward to contributing to the team’s success in 2014,” He added.
