While Honda’s 2014 CRF450R is an incredible motorcycle, it has a couple of character traits that, for some, could be improved. Some riders feel like the CRF doesn’t have enough horsepower. I think that’s a ridiculous notion, but just to humor folks, we went ahead and turned this smooth, tractable power plant into a big-bore 478cc animal. When we finally bolted this thing together, we had one amazing-looking machine. Every last detail had been considered, and the last thing left to do was put it to the test on a track. We headed to Pala Raceway to make that happen. Check out the video for a complete rundown.
