Contingency Prizes at GNCC Banquet
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - The AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series will host its annual GNCC Awards Banquet this weekend, November 22 and 23, at the Waterfront Place Hotel and Convention Center in Morgantown, W. Va., recognizing the Top 10 racers in each National Class. Thanks to GNCC series supporters, the 2013 Awards Banquet will boast some of the most impressive contingency prizes in recent history, including the granddaddy of them all - the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC "Ticket to Ride" giveaway, where four lucky racers will go home with an all-expenses paid riding trip to Utah.
Riders in each eligible class will be entered into a drawing to win an exclusive trip for two, courtesy of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. On Friday evening, the Top 10 ATV riders in every PM class, as well as select upper-level AM classes and XC1, XC2 and XC3 UTV classes, will be entered to win a UTV riding excursion with the Rocky Mountain crew in Moab, Utah amidst the slick rocks, sand washes and Colorado River Vistas. Two lucky winners will be drawn pm Friday and all winners must be present.
On Saturday evening, the Top 10 motorcycle riders in every PM class, as well as select upper-level AM classes, will be entered to win a motorcycle excursion through the San Rafael Swell in southern Utah, including the Five Miles of Hell, Dick Brass Trails, Devil's Racetrack and Chimney Rock. The two lucky winners will be drawn on Saturday and all winners must be present.
In addition to the trip, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC will provide a $20 gift card to each class winner on the ATV and motorcycle nights, in addition to several other door prizes.
Additional companies supporting this year's contingency selection include VP Racing Fuels, Hinson Clutch Components, Can-Am, Wiseco, Twin Air, Dunlop, 100%, Cometic, AMSOIL, FMF, Leatt, Mid-State Chevy and Polisport.
Other notable door prizes include a Factory Connection certificate for a motorcycle suspension revalve, including labor and fluids at a $425 value, and Elka Suspension's free set of ATV shocks, valued at $800.
The top riders of each class will be honored at the annual GNCC Awards Banquet. The top 10 ATV racers in each class will be honored on Friday, November 22 and the top 10 bike racers in each class will be awarded Saturday, November 23. The top 5 riders in each class will receive contingency awards.
The banquet will also feature an array of Specialty Awards as well, including Rider of the Year, the Rough and Ready Pit Crew Award and the "Bad Ass" Award.
