October 1, 2013 9:10am
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Vortex Racing, an industry leader in motorcycle racing components, announced today that the second annual, month-long Vortex PINK Campaign™ will begin tomorrow, October 1, 2013 and it signature Vortex CAT 5 PINK Campaign Sprocket will be available for purchase. The pink CAT 5 sprocket is meant to raise awareness and money during the month of October, which is nationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Image attached).
“We are very excited about continuing the Vortex PINK Campaign™ for another year. The response we received last year in our inaugural efforts was absolutely phenomenal within the motorcycle racing industry. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t been affected in one way or another by this horrible disease. It is my hope that Vortex can continue to be a part of helping to fund research to find a cure,” says Matt Griffin, founder and president of Vortex Racing.
Last year, the likes of Josh Hayes, Martin Cardenas and Josh Herrin rocked the pink sprocket at the season ending NOLA commanding the attention of the SPEED Channel to help spread the word about Vortex’s efforts in raising awareness within the industry.
Like last year, Vortex Racing has committed to donating 25% of its net sales of the Vortex CAT 5 PINK Campaign Sprocket™ to the American Cancer Society, earmarked for its breast cancer research efforts.
The CAT 5 PINK Campaign Sprocket™ is available for purchase by phone order only at 800.440.3559. Available for all current Vortex sprocket applications.
