King of the Ranch at Bremen

  • King of the Ranch at Bremen
Bremen Race Park is proud to announce the 1st annual King of The Ranch sponsored by 100% and Fly Racing.  Bremen Race Park will bring back the fun just as our patriarch King Kelly would want it.  We lost our founder and leader King Kelly earlier this summer, but what we haven't lost is his spirit to entertain and to have a good time both on and off the track.  Each fall from this point forward you can expect a big time Motocross event and you can also expect to have a great time at Bremen Race Park.

What's in a name?
For starters we have changed the name of our facility to pay tribute to the man that started it all.  Bremen Race Park at Kings Ranch will be the new name of our little slice of heaven.  You'll begin to see changes and upgrades that will start at the front gate.  The Motocross shop located on site is about to come back to life in a huge way.  We are excited to partner with one of the best in the business and all of our riders will benefit.  More to come on that later.

Amen Corner
The King of the Ranch will be unique in many ways, and some for this event only!!  First off we are going to do the unthinkable, we are going to rip it up right in Kings garden.  That's right, we are going to add a special portion of the race track that runs right through the mans fertile garden and we'll only do it for this race each year.  This beautiful, peaceful, quiet patch of ground that produced so much food over the years will be transformed into a beautiful oasis of moto heaven and we've named it "Amen Corner".  Tons of sawdust and I mean tons of it will be worked into this patch of ground to make you wish you never messed with the ole mans garden.  It will look stunning and almost out of place, which is simply awesome.

Track Changes
We also have a major redesign in the works for you to sink your knobbies into.  Kyle Kelly will put the track under the knife for this event.  Riders will be greeted with some welcome changes.  For one we will bring back the real deal Table Top that has been the focal point of our SX portion of the race track.  It's gotten smaller over the years, that's about to change.  We are also considering bringing back the "Mexican".  We shall see, time permitting.

What's going on away from the track?
Well let's see, we are bringing in a band to have some fun on Saturday night.  King loved to sit down and listen to live music so we'll carry on with that at this years King of the Ranch.  You'll dig the tunes and you'll also enjoy the Freewheeling Pit Party that will feature free wings, good music, corn hole and all the B.S. bench racing you can handle.  This all happens on Saturday night at 8pm.  We will also have a Swap Meet from noon to 4pm so bring all of your gently used Motocross items and let's swap'em out.  We will also have some kids activities to help you wear them down for bed.

What else ya got?
We will reward those of you that crush it at the King of the Ranch with some killer "crown" King of the Ranch awards.  100% has also stepped up huge to kick out tons of free swag for the event like T's, hats, and of course their killer goggles to all the class winners and we'll pump out some shades as well.  Fly Racing is now the official gear sponsor and we will have $1,500 in FLY Contingency Money to give to you!!

When and where does this all happen?
Glad ya asked, we will open the gates on Friday October 11th so come on in and pick out a prime parking spot and if you get there early enough you can snag an RV hookup for just $50 for the weekend.  Saturday October 12th we will have prepped practice from 9am to 2pm.  The swap meet goes down from noon to 4pm.  The Freewheeling Pit Party gets rolling with live music at 8pm along with the Corn Hole tourney and free Wings thanks to the Freewheelin' Cafe!!  Sunday is funday and it's also Race Day!  We'll get started early with a riders meeting at 8am and practice to follow.  After that it's business time folks!
