GEICO Honda’s Matt Bisceglia capped off his amateur career in style last week at Loretta Lynn’s with two more titles and the coveted AMA Horizon Award. Matt will be following in an impressive pedigree of riders to his professional debut aboard the powerful and proven GEICO Honda team at Unadilla this weekend. We’ll get his thoughts on leaving the amateur world behind and fulfilling that lifelong dream.
Another top amateur prospect making his professional debut in Unadilla this weekend is Troy Lee Designs Honda’s Shane McElrath. Shane set the amateur world ablaze last summer and has done well to follow that success up this year. He has battled the best in the sport over the last several years and will put every bit of that experience on the line this weekend.
