GEICO Honda’s rookie Zach Bell will miss the remainder of the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with a shoulder injury. Bell initially suffered the injury at Monster Energy Supercross in Toronto. Bell sat out the remainder of supercross to let the shoulder heal, returning at the opening round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross at Hangtown. After securing the second moto holeshot Bell lost a lot of ground before pulling off. Bell will undergo surgery to repair his shoulder and is expected to miss at least four months. Bell tweeted the following earlier today:
Well after waiting almost 3 months and trying to ride with my shoulder and now to find out what was all wrong with it feel like I did good at Hangtown. Getting surgery on the 14th of this month, 4 month recovery time...
