With just two rounds remaining in the 250SX East Region, and trailing points leader Wil Hahn by eight points, Marvin Musquin was in a must-win situation entering Minneapolis. The Frenchman grabbed the holeshot with Hahn, Blake Wharton, Gavin Faith, and Tyler Bowers in tow. As Wharton and Hahn jockeyed for position, Musquin quickly took command of the race. Hahn would eventually shrug off Wharton, leaving the Texan to deal with three-time AMSOIL Arenacross Champion Bowers. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki fill-in rider quickly made his way around Wharton, but Wharton was able to keep pace and then ran it in hard on Bowers, taking over third and leaving Bowers on the ground. Musquin rolled to his fourth win of the season and now trails Hahn by five with the series taking a two week break before the season finale in Vegas. Wharton rounded out the podium, with Faith, Bowers, Lance Vincent, Vince Friese, AJ Catanzaro, Steven Clarke, and Cole Thompson finishing off the top ten.
