RacerTV Announces 2013 NBC Sports Network and RacerTV.com Line-up
Round 1 of GNCC ATV Racing Now Available on RacerTV.com
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - RacerTV returns in 2013 with coverage of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series and the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship. This year's platform features a 15-week television package on NBC Sports Network, as well as a full-schedule of racing on RacerTV.com - all brought to viewers by this year's television sponsors AMSOIL, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC and Can-Am.
This year's 15-week television package on NBC Sports Network begins this weekend, April 14 and runs through November. NBC Sports Network will air 13 episodes of GNCC Racing, as well as an additional two episodes of ATV Motocross Nationals.
The 2013 RacerTV schedule kicks off today on RacerTV.com with the opening round of the AMSOIL GNCC Series, featuring race coverage of Pro ATVs at the Moose Racing Westgate River Ranch GNCC. Coverage of the opening round of GNCC continues on NBC Sports Network this weekend with Round 1 of GNCC Pro Motorcycle racing. Viewers can find all past RacerTV shows on RacerTV.com one week after their airdate.
Coverage of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA, begins April 22 on RacerTV.com with the opening round at Aonia Pass MX in Washington, Ga. Coverage of the Pro ATVMX class will continue to air on RacerTV.com all season long, with two shows airing on NBC Sports in June and August.
"For 2013 we're really breaking new ground for RacerTV by having all of our episodes airing online at RacerTV.com as well as 15 broadcasts on the NBC Sports Network," said RacerTV Producer Jason Hooper. "It's important for us to get the race coverage to our fans as soon as possible, and the online delivery allows us to post our shows with the same high quality of production we use for actual TV, and cut the broadcast delay from months to just a few weeks."
In addition to the action-packed race coverage most have come to expect, RacerTV.com will also host the first ever season of the all-new GNCC LIVE webcast from all 13 rounds of the series. All GNCC LIVE shows will begin at 1 p.m. EST on both Saturday (ATV racing) and Sunday (Motorcycle racing).
