$5500 Pro Purse for OMC Spring Classic
Boise, ID — The Owyhee Motorcycle Club (OMC), in conjunction with Fly Racing, Western Powersports and Scott USA, is proud to announce that the 2013 OMC Spring Classic & Mammoth MX Qualifier will have enhanced pro purse monies. This event will be held in the picturesque foothills of Boise, Idaho on May 4th and 5th, 2013.
The 450 Pro Class, Sponsored by Carl’s Cycle Sales Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Polaris and KTM (Boise, ID), will have $2000 of pro purse money.
The 250 Pro Class, Sponsored by Grizzly Sports Kawasaki and Polaris (Caldwell, ID), will also have a $2000 pro purse.
The Open Pro Class, Sponsored by Scott USA, will have a $1000 pro purse.
The Vet Pro Class, sponsored by MotoOne (Boise, ID), will have $500 in pro purse.
This purse money will be in addition to the Mammoth MX qualifying entries. Race director, Brian Lueddeke, was quoted, “We are excited to have such great partners in Idaho supporting this event. Bringing in Pro level riders from around the region has been a goal of ours, and with the support from Carl’ Cycles, Grizzly Sports, Scott USA and MotoOne, the goal will be realized.”
The annual Monster Energy Mammoth Mountain National Motocross is a highly prestigious event held at the base of the picturesque Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Professional and amateur motocross racers from across the United States, most of whom are required to qualify at one of several qualifying events, travel to this event each year in hopes of winning one of the coveted Bear trophies.
