Klotz Supports RCSX
Morgantown, W. Va. - MX Sports is pleased to announce today that Klotz Synthetic Lubricants will support the 4th Annual Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross, sanctioned by AMA. Taking place Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11, this two-day amateur racing event follows Saturday night's Daytona Supercross By Honda, where the fastest pro racers in the country will compete on the hollowed grounds of Daytona International Speedway.
"The Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross is the perfect venue for Klotz to showcase our product lineup at the grassroots level," said John C. Klotz Jr., Founder and CEO of Klotz Synthetic Lubricants. "Klotz has a host of product offerings that have been specifically formulated for the motocross market, including our MX4 Techniplate Synthetic Lubricant for the newest generation of four-stroke motorcycle engines. We'll have a number of products on display for riders and their mechanics to learn more about and sample. The amateur motocross market has always been a cornerstone at Klotz and we're excited to actively engage that group with Ricky's help."
This year's event will once again feature two full days of amateur racing, boasting longer races and practices and offering more class options to give racers even more track-time over the course of the weekend. Following a night of watching the fastest pro racers in the country battle it out on the Daytona Supercross track, the amateur-racing schedule kicks off Sunday morning. Practice starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by heat races and last chance qualifiers. Monday's schedule consists of the remaining LCQ's and all thirty-two Main Event races. There are still positions available to race on the historic Daytona Supercross track this year! Classes range from 50cc riders all the way to Vet and Pro classes. No qualification is necessary for this event. To register for RCSX, click HERE.
