People who keep up with technology are well aware of the crowd-funding phenomenon that's sweeping the world. Entrepreneurs everywhere are coming up with new ideas, posting them on sites like Kickstarter and RocketHub, and if the public likes the ideas, the cash starts to roll in to fund the projects. What investors get for their money depends on the terms of the campaign to which they're donating.
The folks at MotoThump and HRT Racing have brought this concept to our sport, giving fans an opportunity to fund their racing effort while also scoring some pretty cool team-related goods. For as little as $10, you can get behind Jimmy Albertson, Austin Politelli, JJ Pauk and the rest of the crew through their RocketHub campaign.
So far the effort has raised $2,455 toward its goal of $50,000. They hope to fully fund this campaign by March 18, so the clock is definitely ticking.
