On Friday we'll be launching the 3rd Annual GoPro/Racer X Online Amateur Film Festival, where dozens of aspiring action-sports videographers will submit motocross-based short films in the hopes of winning prizes and global recognition. The top entries will be shown on Racer X Online, on our Facebook wall, etc. Full details of the competition will be announced on Friday. It's a really cool deal.
If you're a musician and you'd like to donate music for these up-and-comers to consider using in their entries, then you just might be able to get some publicity as well. (Any music that is used must be properly credited with musician name, band name, and website.) Every genre is fair game.
If you have tracks you'd like to make available for participants, please send them in high-quality mp3 format to music@racerxonline.com. If you're sending more than 10 MB of files, send via www.wetransfer.com instead of via email. Please include the following information as it should be credited in entries:
1. Musician name
2. Musician website
3. Song titles
Also let us know if there are any restrictions on the use of your music.
Note: There's no guarantee your music will be chosen for use, but we'll make it available to all entrants for consideration.
