10TH ANNUAL ASA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS JOINS FORCES WITH THE METAL MULISHA TO FORM “METAL MULISHA MOTO-X CHAMPIONS”
Iconic Metal Mulisha team members amongst the world’s top motocross pros
invited to battle head-to-head in front of sold out crowds!

LOS ANGELES – ASA Entertainment is proud to announce that the ASA World Championships of Freestyle Motocross (FMX) will return to the Pomona Fairplex with a new twist for its 10 Year Anniversary. The event has partnered with the prestigious Metal Mulisha brand to create the Metal Mulisha Moto-X Champions during the final weekend of the L.A. County Fair, on Saturday, Sept. 29 (starting at 7:30 p.m.). Some of the best motorcycle aerialists in the industry, including several Metal Mulisha team members, will compete in a series of double elimination head-to-head battles for the event title.

The event has a deep history with former Champions such as Nate Adams (four times), Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg (two times), Mike Mason (two times) and Taka Higashino all taking top honors.  All of the riders in this year’s competition will have to throw down their biggest tricks in this unique contest that is sure to be filled with the full-throttle intensity and aerial acrobatics that makes freestyle motocross so exciting to watch live.

“Bringing the Metal Mulisha on as a partner will help the event to evolve into its next generation,” said Rick Bratman, CEO of ASA Entertainment Group, the event’s owner and producer.  “Although this event has always been ‘the riders contest’, we are extremely happy to work with Brian Deegan and the entire Metal Mulisha organization to take the event to the next level.  People will not believe what these pros can do on a dirt bike with huge back-flip variations, no-handed tricks and so much more.  So Cal fans do not want to miss this.”

"We've been wanting to partner with ASA on this event for a while, and the 10th year anniversary seemed like the perfect time to jump in," said Brian Deegan, leader of the Metal Mulisha. "This has been a great event for the pros for so long and we want to help ASA build it even further for the next generation of riders."

Tickets are on sale now and only $25.00 for box seats and $18.50 for reserved seats for this one-night only event. They can be purchased at the Fairplex Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Tickemaster.com or by calling 800 745 3000 to charge them by phone. Fair admission is separate.
