Round seven of the Lucus Oil Pro Motocross Championship happened over the weekend with perfect weather on hand to make for an amazing race day. #800 Mike Alessi did not disappoint his fans this weekend. Alessi was unable to get the hole shot in Moto 1 but was able to gain the lead by the end of the first lap. He now had the challenge of defending his position against Dungey. Alessi did a great job once again on closing the door on Dungey by keeping his Motoconcepts wide in the turns. #800 Mike Alessi was able to hold off Dungey for a while, but Dungey did have a very fast line through the sand whoops and was able to finally pass. Congratulations #800 Mike Alessi on a strong finish for 2nd overall at Spring Creek National.
#57 Jake Canada had a good weekend. The last time I saw him at the track we were talking about how he was trying to get in the top 10 and had been missing it the last few weekends by a couple of spots. This weekend he was determined and able to get his top 10 finish. Jake Canada finished 9th in Moto1 and 13th in Moto 2 for a 10th overall performance. Congratulations #57 Jake Canada on your top 10 finish.
