BTO Sports to Provide Awards at Mammoth
BTO Sports to provide racer awards at Mammoth Motocross
Headed up to Mammoth this year for the 2012 Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross Race? If so, be sure to stop by and visit the BTO Sports crew in the pits. They will be there to support the event from June 22nd through July 1st. If you were there last year, then you probably became familiar with the daily “Race Day Raffle” that BTO Sports put on for the fans and riders on race days. The notorious raffles will be taking place again all week long this year. The prizes will be great, and the best part is that it is free to sign up for the raffle. It will not stop there this year though. BTO Sports has put together an array of products to bring forth a bunch of new awards for the racers of the event.
Here is a list of awards that will be up for grabs for this year’s race participants:
- BTO Sports Holeshot Award – The holeshot award will be up for grabs to the guy to make it past the BTO Sports Holeshot markers before the first big downhill. The Prize will be a special edition 2012 BTO Sports/Mammoth Motocross Collab. Tee shirt, and a $25 BTO Sports Gift Certificate. The award is up for grabs in every FIRST MOTO of each class. (pro classes excluded)
- BTO Sports Oil Change Award – Presented by Kal Gard Lubricants. The BTO Sports Oil Change is up for grabs during Vet Weekend only. The award will consist of 2 quarts of Kal Gard oil to each winner of the Vet Jr. and Senior Jr. main events, on both days of Vet Racing competition.
- BTO Sports ‘Up and Comer’ Award – Presented by Answer Racing. This prize is a reward to the winners of the C class main events. This award will be presented to the winners of all “Junior” class main events. Each class winner will receive a certificate for a set of Answer Racing Motocross Gear (Pant, Jersey, and Gloves).
- BTO Sports ‘Hard Charger’ Award – Presented by Hinson Clutch Components. This award goes out to the guys in the Schoolboy class who gave it everything, but didn’t quite make it. As we all know, the Schoolboy class is a very fast & competitive class that can be taxing on these bikes with the smaller motors. What better thing to blame for not making the main than a slipping clutch? Thanks to Hinson Clutch Components, BTO Sports will be providing the guys from each schoolboy division who are just 1 spot away from making the schoolboy main event with a free Hinson Clutch Basket.
- BTO Sports ‘Little Ripper’ Award – Presented by EKS Brand Goggles. This award will be up for grabs to all mini rider Main Event and Moto 2 races. The late and great Whitney Houston once said “I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way.” Although she didn’t hold the greatest track record for making ‘wise decisions’ throughout her life, she was definitely onto something with this quote. BTO Sports believes that these words could not be more true, so they have teamed up with Rich Taylor from EKS Brand Goggles to award these little champions with brand new sets of EKS Brand Goggles for their moto wins!
With so many awards to handout and activities going on throughout both weeks, BTO Sports is excited to be a part of this amazing event. Last year was a tremendous success and this year holds to be even better. The BTO Sports crew is looking forward to some awesome racing and all of the fun that comes along with the Monster Energy Mammoth Mountain Motocross Race. See you guys up there!!
