Pastrana, Barcia, Weigandt on DMXS Radio Tonight
GEICO’s Justin Barcia took his first overall win under the threatening skies in Colorado and put to rest the banter from his critics that he’s already looking past this summer when he jumps up to the Factory Honda team. The Lites class has proved to be the best racing we’ve seen this year, and with the third different winner in three rounds, it appears this battle will come down to the final moto of the summer.
Jason Weigandt may still be announcing Colorado somehow after the adverse weather and time delays kept him and Jeff Emig on their toes during the live broadcast. The entire MX Sports, track and TV crews deserve some special love after pulling that one off. We’ll get Weege’s take on the summer that already has plenty of great racing and drama to talk about as the series heads east this weekend.
