NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE 3D
ACTION-PACKED ADVENTURE FILM SET FOR A NATIONWIDE THEATRICAL RELEASE ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 10

SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA -- ARC Entertainment announced today the company has acquired worldwide rights to the action-packed adventure film, NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE 3D, which has been set for a nationwide theatrical release date on Friday, August 10.  The film will also be distributed in 2D.

ARC Entertainment also announced the company will work in partnership with Red Bull Media House and Wasserman Media Group in leveraging their combined resources behind the marketing and distribution of the film.  Industry veteran and marketing guru Dennis Rice will oversee the marketing and distribution of the nationwide release, which will include working closely with promotional partners DC Shoes and Skullcandy.  ARC Entertainment President Rich Goldberg, who negotiated the deal on behalf of the company, will oversee the international distribution of the film.

NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE 3D is directed by Gregg Godfrey and Jeremy Rawle. The film is produced by Godfrey, Rawle and Dave Hunter of Godfrey Entertainment in collaboration with Red Bull Media House.  Having redefined the world of action sports and entertainment, Gregg and Jeremy lead the film’s stars Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus crew including Jolene Van Vugt, Streetbike Tommy, Erik Roner, Special Greg, Jim DeChamp, Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham and Parks Bonifay, along with a special appearance by Johnny Knoxville.  The Executive Producers include Bill Gerber (“The Dukes of Hazzard,” “Gran Torino”), Wasserman executive David Brooks, and Jared Knight of Godfrey Entertainment.

In NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE 3D, Travis Pastrana and his tight-knit, highly-skilled, adrenaline-addicted friends bring their impossible, ridiculous, insane and hysterical adventures to the big screen for the first time. Travis Pastrana’s accomplishments are legendary:  at 17, he was the youngest rider to ever represent the United States at the Motocross of Nations, 125cc National Outdoor Motocross Champion, 125cc East Supercross Series Champion, and the most successful competitor in the history of X Games Freestyle Motocross.  Equally impressive on four wheels, Travis has attained four championships in the Rally America Series, competes in the Global RallyCross Championship series, and in 2012 made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut.
The action sport collective of Nitro Circus was created by Gregg Godfrey, Jeremy Rawle, Jeff Tremaine, Travis Pastrana, Johnny Knoxville and Trip Taylor.  The show, “Nitro Circus,” featuring Pastrana, debuted on MTV in 2009.  An instant hit, Nitro Circus spawned an on-going series of live world tours earning more than $30 million in ticket revenue since 2010.  They have sold more than one million DVDs worldwide, and ranked the Number 1 selling Action Sports Franchise of All Time.  The Nitro Circus Live TV show currently airs on MTV2.
