EKS Brand Podiums in Italy

EKS Brand Goggles would like to congratulate its rider Michael Leib on his fantastic job in the MX2 class at the recent GP in Fermo, Itlay where he had moto scores of 3-3 for second overall on the day! It was a great ride for Leib who went over there as a fill-in on the Bike-It Yamaha squad and ended up leading the second moto for a long time before blisters got the better of him and he was forced to back it down and settle for third.

The ride got Leib another crack at the Mexico GP in two weeks where he hopes to stand on the top of the box this time.

In the MX1 class EKS Brand rider Kevin Strijbos ended up seventh overall

In the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series in Salt Lake City, Utah, EKS Brand team riders Kyle Chisholm and Preston Tilford both put in in the main event in their respective classes.

Chisholm, sitting just outside the top ten in the points, was up near the front early but injuries to his arm held him back a bit. Then later on in the main event, his front fork broke and he was forced to circulate for points. It was a frustrating event for the DNA Energy drink Kawasaki rider and doctors have to look at his arm this week to figure out if he’s going to be able to race the final event in Las Vegas this weekend.

Tilford made his first 250 main event of the year and rode a solid and steady race to score himself a 13th.
