St. Louis - The Team BTOSports.com team headed to the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis for Rd. 9 of the Monster Energy/AMA Supercross series. With team riders Jimmy Albertson, Jason Thomas and Matt Goerke having strong qualifying times, the team was ready to turn things around.
In the heats, Matt Goerke and Jimmy Albertson took advantage of good starts to finish 7th and 8th. They would secure spots in the main event. Jason Thomas would not get a good start in his heat race finishing outside of a qualifying spot. In the LCQ, JT$ could not find a transfer spot to the main, ending his night.
In the main, Goerke would keep the gas on to battle back from a mid-pack start. He would finish a stron 12th place in the main event. “Top” Jimmy would have bad luck in the main as he would finish 18th. His finish this weekend doesn’t reflect the hard work Albertson has been putting in the last few weeks, so look for him to improve from this point on.
“I am happy for the team this weekend” said team manager Forrest Butler. “Everyone has been working hard and this is a sign that things are going to get better from here on out.”
