Mad Skills Tourney Round 4 Midweek Update
We're about halfway through Round 4 of the Mad Skills Motocross (iOS) Tournament, and once again the competition is fierce. The lead has changed a bunch of times, with the current top spot going to kness237 (1:01.91). You can see the top 15 in realtime here, as well as the final top 15 in the first three rounds of the tournament. This link will work throughout the whole tournament, so you may want to bookmark it.
If you're not receiving our weekly emails, you might want to consider signing up. Each week we send out a video of the winning time, a list of the top 100 finishers, important tournament updates, prize notifications, and we're going to try to start including playing tips as well.
Speaking of important updates, as of Round 5, we're instituting a new rule: if you crash anywhere on the track, your time won't count toward the top overall time. Sometimes crashing can result in a favorable remount, and we can't control every instance of this. So, if you crash and the game remounts you ahead of where you were, we suggest restarting the level immediately. You need to get through a run cleanly for it to count toward the overall win.
How much are people playing in Round 4? So far this week, there have been a total of more than 3.1 million attempts, and players are averaging 259 attempts each. The player with the most attempts so far this week is TWKmoto1 with -- get this -- 6,013 attempts! There are four players in the world who have attempted Round 4 more than 4,000 times. #dedicated (#addicted)
