Zach Osborne Wins AMA Hare Scramble

Chesterfield, SC– In an effort to continue his training for the long 40-minute motos of the World Championships, Zach entered round two of the AMA Hare Scramble Series in Perry, Georgia.  There he was able to take home a win over 2^nd place Nathan Kanney.  Zach was able to lead for about 20 minutes into the first lap until making a wrong turn on the course.  This mistake dropped him back to the 4^th position before quickly moving himself back into the 2^nd position.  From there, he was able to fight back to lead briefly before falling back to 2^nd place.  On the last lap, Kanney’s tire went flat and Osborne was able to take over the lead, and the win.

Osborne hopes to ride his wave of success into the World Championships before making a return to the American supercross and motocross series in 2013.  According to Osborne: “I am leaving ClubMX and heading back overseas this week but the last two months home have been awesome for me.  I can’t wait to get back out there and show what I’ve got in the World Championships before coming back home in 2013.”  This new sense of enthusiasm for riding and training everyday will surely lead to another highlight year for Osborne.
