JOSH HANSEN (No. 100 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki) Finished 15th
“I really enjoyed the track tonight at the Georgia Dome and thought that the dirt was awesome. The track layout was good and I thought I was ready to have a killer Main Event. I just came up short on a jump and almost had a big crash. The bike stalled out on me and I couldn’t get it started and that put us a down lap down. It’s a shame. It is what it is. That’s part of racing and I just need to forget about tonight and get ready for next weekend.”
KYLE PARTRIDGE (No. 83 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki) Finished 17th
“The start of the day was good. I rode solid in practice. I went into the Heat (race) and was running sixth-or-seventh on the first lap and fell. I had to go to the LCQ (Last Chance Qualifier), made it out and then got ready for the Main. In the Main I was running 14th-or-15th on the seventh-or-eighth lap and just came up short on the rhythm section and the bike stuck. I rode the front wheel off the next jump and had to jump off the bike (in the air) and landed on my feet; luckily I rolled down to the ground. I knocked the wind out of myself. The track was super hard tonight. The ruts made it really technical and I just had a bad night. We’ll head to St. Louis next weekend.”
