Cosworth's Race Report: Dallas

Well the weekend was a wet one in Dallas and t definitely rain on our parade. The seventh round of AMA Supercross series made its way east into Cowboy Stadium.

With this being the first race for the east cost riders there was a fresh feeling for us. Cosworth’s Kyle Cunningham looked fresh and ready to give these east cost guys a run. In practice Cunningham looked real good and was tuning some good lap times.

In the heat race, Cosworth’s Cunningham battled with Baggett but was unable to take the position for him or Roczen who won the heat. Kyle’s performance looked good out there said, Donovan Norris from Cosworth. He has been biting at the bit, ready to race, and it shows.

In the main it was nothing but trouble for us as we came around the first turn. Baggett and Cunningham tangled and Cunningham wrist that took the hit. Cosworth’s Cunningham is ok but was not able to continue in the main. It was a bummer for Kyle, said Donovan. We know he has the speed and talent to race with the best. All we can do now is look forward to the next race and prepare ourselves for the next race.

We are very proud of the effort the StarValli Yamaha Team is putting in. All of the riders are fast and the team and mechanics are first rate. It’s definitely a pleasure to be affiliated with this Yamaha team.
