Monster Energy Road to Mammoth Motocross Series
OMC Raceway Proud to have the Monster Energy Road
to Mammoth Motocross Series return to Boise
The Owyhee Motorcycle Club, in conjunction with RacerX, is proud to announce the return of the Monster Energy Road to Mammoth Motocross Series to the Treasure Valley. OMC will host Round 5 of this series on Sunday, April 15th, 2012; with a public practice day on Saturday. The Monster Energy Road to Mammoth Series made its debut at OMC last spring, and the event hosted riders from Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico. OMC Assistant MX-Vice President, Brian Lueddeke, stated that the club is, “excited and working hard,” to make the 2012 event an even greater success.
The ‘Road to Mammoth’ events serve as the qualifying MX Series for the annual Monster Energy Mammoth Mountain National Motocross. This race is a highly prestigious event held each June at the base of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Professional and amateur motocross racers from across the United States travel to this event each year in the hope of winning one of the coveted ‘bear’ trophies; many of whom are required to qualify at one of the 6 Monster Energy Road to Mammoth events.
