Villopoto, Osborne and Weimer on the Pulpmx Show Tonight
With the Fee-Nix Supercross down and 15 more races to go, the Pulpmx Show presented by BTOSports.com takes a look at the race with the 2nd and 3rd place finishers plus the early surprise in the 250 class.
Hosts Kenny Watson and Steve Matthes will have on Monster Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer to talk about his first ever 450 heat race win as well as his first ever podium finish in the 450 class. Weimer will also be on to probably rub it into Watson as he now owes $1000 because of Weimer’s podium.
His teammate Ryan Villopoto is tied for the series lead after 1-3 finishes in the two rounds. He came from an early race crash all the way back to 3rd place on a tough Phoenix track. We’ll have Matthes’ “friend” on to talk about that.
Monster/Bike-It Yamaha’s Zach Osborne did pretty well for a European rider this weekend in Phoenix. What? He’s not from Europe? Oh ok, we’ll have the American on to talk about his early season success as he races supercross for the first time since ’08.
We’re also going to discuss the Kawasaki/Pulpmx Show A2 Superfan t-shirt contest that we’re running and we’ll get Watson to take a look at the entries and narrow them down a bit before pulling out the winner.
