J27 Announces New Throttle Tube

J27 ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF THEIR ALL NEW THROTTLE TUBE

J27 MX is pleased to announce the launch of the all new “Shooter” throttle tube. Utilizing new bearing and polymer technology, this two piece design essentially eliminates any chance of binding on the handlebars and brings a new design to the motocross industry.

The “Shooter” throttle tube utilizes dual inner bearings with a sleeve on the inside of your handlebars as well as an end thrust bearing that rides on the end of the handlebar. Made from billet 6061 T6 Aluminum with a stainless steel end cap for durability, this new configuration essentially eliminates binding on handlebars in a crash and provides a safer throttle tube for the rider. The silky smooth operation is aided by a polymer bushing on the housing end of the throttle tube made from a self lubricating polymer called Turcite-X ®.

The throttle tube and other products from J27 will be run by numerous professional privateers in the 2012 Arenacross, Supercross and Outdoor Motocross series.
