RacerTV joins the NBC Sports line-up in 2012

Morgantown, W. Va. - Racer Productions is pleased to announce today's launch of NBC Sports Network, formally Versus Network, as the official place to watch RacerTV 's coverage of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series, the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series and the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by Amsoil.

Versus makes the name change to NBC Sports Network today at 4 p.m. EST with the airing of the NHL Winter Classic. Furthermore, NBC Sports Network will keep a steady stream of live sports on air in 2012, including the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Soccer (MLS) and the summer Olympics in London.

"I think the addition of RacerTV on NBC Sports Network is huge for our sport," said RacerTV Producer, Jason Hooper. "To have ATV and motorcycle races air on the same network as NHL and the Olympics will bring in more viewers outside of the sport and hopefully turn them into fans!"

RacerTV features weekly powersports programs, airing Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m on NBC Sports Network. The complete 2012 RacerTV schedule will be released soon and all times are subject to change.

The 2012 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series (motorcycle and ATV) kicks off once again at Westgate River Ranch Resort in River Ranch, Fla., in conjunction with Daytona Bike Week on March 10-13. For more information visit gnccracing.com.
