Moto Star Kawasaki’s Michael McDade came in swinging this past weekend at round 4 of the 2012 AMA Arenacross series at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes Barre, PA. On Friday, Michael McDade, who was the Arenacross lites east point leader coming into the weekend, finished 6th in the Arenacross class, ahead of Team Babbits Kawasaki rider Josh Dumuth. In the Arenacross lites class, McDade would battle the 18 lap main with Michael Willard, and finish in 2nd.
On Saturday night, Michael McDade, looking to reclaim the points lead in the lites class, led most of the 18 lap main event in front of his hometown crowd. On lap 15 Michael Willard got by McDade and they battled it out until the end, where McDade finished 2nd.
The AMA Arenacross series will continue January 6-8, 2012 on the east coast with Round 5 at VanAndel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. Moto Star Kawasaki rider Michael McDade sits second place in points, only 5 points behind Willard in the AMA Arenacross lites east series.
