Dragon Racing Fuels Baltimore AX Race Report
Presented by PR2 Suspension

Baltimore, MD – Team Dragon Racing Fuels/AG Motorsports/Cernics KTM headed into Baltimore anticipating another great weekend of exciting Arenacross racing. With a two night event format, anything can happen on either night. Friday did not produce the highlights of the weekend so the team gathered their thoughts, reworked their strategies, and hit the track ready to race on Saturday night.

With a tighter than usual track layout, riders had to readjust their strategies and fight a little harder for positions. When the gate dropped for the Lites Main event, #749 Michael Willard got a good jump and battled in the front for the entire race. Rookie riders #639 David Buller and #91 Dalton Carlson battled inside the top 10 throughout the race. When the checkered flag flew, Willard garnered himself another podium as he finished 2nd while Buller finished 10th and Carlson finished 12th.

Rookie #91 Dalton Carlson is getting a better feel for the series and the tight quarters of Arenacross. With his second weekend under his belt, he is making progress and continues to improve. “The weekend didn’t go as I planned but am looking to turn things around and get more experience. I’m focused on Madison (WI) and hoping for better results.” said Carlson.

Baltimore was the first race for rookie #639 David Buller. “My first Arenacross was fun but I didn’t have the weekend I wanted… I’m looking forward to improving my results in Madison (WI) and gain more experience.” said Buller.
