  • Metal Mulisha Signs Andrew Pierce
Metal Mulisha Welcomes Andrew Pierce as Newest Team Rider

Irvine, CA- Metal Mulisha is happy to announce its newest member to the family, starting this weekend at the Monster Cup in Las Vegas. Supercross/Motocross rider Andrew Pierce from Huffman, TX will be the first in a long line of amateur stars to join the Mulisha squad.

The 15-year-old Pierce has been a fixture on the amateur motocross series these last few years, dominating the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National Motocross Championships since 2008, when he placed 1st overall in 65 Modified (ages 7-11) and 3rd overall in 65 Stock (10-11). At the recent 2011 championships, he placed 5th overall in Super Mini (12-15) and 3rd overall in 85 Stock (12-14). Pierce qualified for the Monster Cup by finishing in the top 15 of the Super Mini class at this year's national championships.

"Joining the Mulisha team is really a dream come true for me, I've been following these guys since I first got onto a dirtbike as a kid in Texas," said Pierce. "Putting on the Mulisha logo this weekend will be a great feeling and I plan earn my Mulisha stripes in Vegas."

Pierce will be wearing Mulisha MSR riding gear, as well as casual gear, at all upcoming events, which include the Mini Olympics, Loretta Lynns, Ponca City, Oak Hill, Mammoth and the World Minis.

"We're always looking for the future of Mulisha out there and Andrew has been impressing us for a few years now," said Deegan. "It's great to see young riders like Andrew taking his sport to the next level, which is what Mulisha has been about since day one."

The Monster Cup will feature some of the best riders in the country, competing for a $1 million prize. The invite-only event will take place at Sam Boyd Stadium, with a hybrid track that will consist of supercross and motocross terrain, playing well to Pierce's strengths. Pierce will be competing alongside other future stars in the Super-Mini class.
