The end of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Season may have already come and gone, but there is still plenty more to come this fall. This weekend both the WORCS Racing and Can-AM GNCC Series are back in action.
KTM Off-road & Thor Team rider, Charlie Mullins will take an eight-point lead into GNCC - XC1 class racing at the VP Racing Fuels Mountain Ridge GNCC in Somerset, Pa. on September 24-25. Mullins capitalized on a mistake by reigning champ, Josh Strang, during round 10 and captured the victory September10-11 at the Unadilla GNCC. With only three rounds to follow, this weekend will be pivotal towards building momentum down the stretch.
The WORCS racing series will invade southern California at Glen Helen MX in Devore, Calif. this weekend. Series point’s leader and Thor rider, Kurt Caselli, has put together three wins in an row, and has begun to separate himself from the pack. Caselli will bring a 38-point lead into round eight this weekend, September 23-25, and will be looking to increase that margin with only a few rounds remaining.
