Bermuda - Maley Motorsports is proud to announce a partnership with the Bermuda Motocross Club to help develop the sport on the small Atlantic Island. In his new role, Maley Motorsports owner, Justin Maley will assist the club with Track Design and Development as well as taking some riders under his wing at various International Amateur races. The three (3) year contract will allow the club, that has been around for more than 30 years, to move forward and build on its successes year after year. Additionally, the contract covers the design and build of a brand new track on the Island each year.
After initially working with Revolution Motorsports BDA and its owner/operator Stanford Deonne Rawlins, Maley got together with the clubs officials and all decided it would be beneficial to everyone to work together and bring the Bermuda Motocross facility in line with International standards. “I am really happy with the vision the club has and the direction we have all agreed on.” Maley says.
Revolution Motorsports BDA’s Stanford Deonne Rawlins believes it is vitally important for the club and its top riders to finally step up to the plate and move forward for the good of the sport and the island. "I have seen motocross in Bermuda rollercoaster over the years on a club, team and rider level. We definitely need a more sustainable development program which we look forward to initiating and building with Justin Maley of Maley Motorsports." says Rawlins. Additionally, Bermuda Motocross Club President Jonathan “Stalk” Trott is excited to get the new MX season started “As club President I know that Justin is going to help take the Bermuda Motocross Club to a new level. The club is starving and Maley Motorsports will feed us. We can’t wait! The time has come for bigger and better things”.
The new, from the ground up, safer and more spectacular track will finally give Bermuda’s motocross riders something to use to prepare themselves for International competition.
